Project information

I designed this map of the 2020 Oregon fires with guidance from James Meacham of the UO Infographics Lab.

In it, I wanted to highlight the impact of the 2020 fires on rural Oregonians, particularly the towns that were burned down during this time.

People experiencing homelessness in Oregon due to the fires are among the first climate refugees in our area, and understanding their experiences can help to quantify what we will need in order to build climate resilience.
