Over the course of three days, I worked in a hybrid team of 5 people (3 in-person, 2 remote) to build a functioning mobile app using geospatial technology. We created the UVengers sun protector, a sunscreen reminder app which updated recommendations for sunscreen reapplication based on user location and sun exposure. Since we had several designers on our team, we worked hard to center the user's experience in our design, and we are incredibly proud of our product, which took 1st place in the first round and ended up second overall.
